Hiruni Wijayaratne

Hiruni Wijayaratne is an elite marathoner and coach. She has represented Sri Lanka at four World Championships and 8 international championships, while specializing in the marathon. She currently holds the South Asian female marathon record with a personal best of 2:34:10. In addition to her marathon success, she holds 10 Sri Lankan national records ranging from the mile to the marathon. Most notably, she won a Gold Medal at the 2019 Asian Games in Kathmandu, Nepal.
